Our focus was on creating a clear, modern, and practical website that makes it simple for visitors to discover what’s on, book spaces, and get involved in local activities.

From the outset, we worked closely with the team at CF61 to understand how the centre operates — its mix of community events, private functions, and business use. This insight shaped our approach to both structure and tone: straightforward, accessible, and welcoming to all. The design avoids unnecessary clutter, instead favouring a layout that puts key information front and centre.

We drew inspiration from CF61’s identity and location, incorporating imagery that reflects its role as a vibrant meeting place within Llantwit Major. A crisp colour palette, bold typography, and simple iconography help users navigate effortlessly, whether they’re browsing on a phone or desktop.

To make the website genuinely useful, we built in features such as a live events calendar, space hire details, and a contact form for quick enquiries. The content management system allows staff to update the site with ease, keeping schedules, news, and information current without the need for technical support.

Performance and accessibility were non-negotiable. The site is lightweight, fast-loading, and meets modern accessibility standards, ensuring that it works smoothly for everyone in the community.
